Welcome to theBARTLETT ARTS COUNCIL Home Page! The mission of the Bartlett Arts Council (BAC) is to support and encourage artistic programming and events of all types to provide all of the people in our community opportunities to involve themselves in and to experience the arts. The BAC endeavors to create and take advantage of opportunities to educate all of the people in our community to the vital role the arts play.
The BAC consists of twelve voting members and six advisory members. The voting members are comprised of eight council-appointed members (4-year terms) and four members appointed by the Bartlett Board of Mayor and Aldermen (2-year terms). The advisory members are comprised of one liason from each of the arts groups supported by the BAC (Bartlett Area Chorus, Bartlett Community Band, Bartlett Art Association, Bartlett Historical Society, and Bartlett Community Theatre) plus one liason from the Bartlett Performing Arts and Conference Center.
The BAC is a completely independent and autonomous non-profit organization. |
